D.P.S. Private Security Officers are selected persons who are personable, responsible, confident, honest, and reliable! They go through an extensive and complete background check.

The officers then received California State Guard Certification. In addition, they receive advanced D.P.S Academy training entailing: Advanced training in Law and Security Procedures, Customer service, Conflict resolution, Use of Force, Emergency and Evacuation procedures, Communication and Radio skills, Company Uniform and Appearance requirements, Equipment use, Sexual Harassment, and Workplace Violence training, Crowd control and Crowd Management techniques.

We train our staff to be exceptional officers in what we do and have numerous references to support our high standards!

Our Security Officers are not Police officers but far more advanced than other security personnel who usually only have guard certification or no training at all!

Our training team consists of current or former Police Officer Instructors and Police Academy Mentors.
